About Bulldog BhangraMessage from the committee
With the vast amount of rich culture within the central valley, the students of California State University, Fresno are proud to present Bulldog Bhangra V. This year on Saturday October 1st 2011, Bulldog Bhangra is back with its fifth show. It will be held at the beautiful renovated William Saroyan Theater.
After the huge success from the last 4 shows, we’re back bigger and better than ever! In the past few years, we’ve brought renowned artists such as Manak-E, RDB, Juggy D, Dhol Beat International and Bikram Singh as well as showcased some of the most talented bhangra teams from all over North America and Canada. This year we promise the same style and class!
Teams from all over the world will come together under one stage to represent the glorious art of our culture. 10 Teams will be selected to compete head-to-head for prizes up to $8,000.
The Bulldog Bhangra committee and its sponsors are proud to bring cultural and family-friendly event to the Central Valley. Spreading our culture and bringing awareness to our youth is what we are most proud of. This years’ committee strives to insure that teams enjoy their stay and patrons enjoy a great show!
